– September 4th 2012 – FSA shoot down jet killing pilot

– November 10th 2014 – FSA withdraws from Abu Duhur leaving Nusra to fill the gap

– November 27th 2014 – SAA launches offensive around Abu Duhur

**By now the 411 man army has lost 55 men with further 70+ injured, almost 20 severe leaving 290-330 active soldiers

– January 27th 2015 – SAA withdrew from Um Jurayn. Now the SAA holds only one village outside of Abu Duhur air base.

– March 5th 2015 – SAA kills Al Nusra leader near Abu Duhur base

– July 19th 2015 – 5 NDF defect to rebels

– August 22nd 2015 – Nusra launches offensive to capture the base
– August 24th 2015 – Nusra capture Al Kashir village
– August 25th 2015 – Nusra seizes eastern side of air base
August 26th 2015 – Nusra withdraws from eastern side of airbase
